A parijhat flower—more commonly spelled parijat or parijata—is a small, intensely fragrant flower traditionally identified with the night-flowering jasmine. It usually has white petals with a deep orange center, and it is known for blooming at night and often falling to the ground by morning.
In Indian tradition, parijhat is especially loved for its heavenly beauty, delicate scent, and sacred associations, which is why it appears so often in poetry, devotional literature, and perfume inspiration.
